The 2023 Defender V8 Carpathian Edition is the top-of-the-line trim of the Defender featuring that mighty V8 and a ton of luxurious options.

The V8 is a 518hp and 461 lb-ft of torque 5.0L powerplant that can rocket the Defender 90 from 0-60 in 4.9 seconds and a top speed of 149mph.

Inside, the cabin features a suedecloth steering wheel, 14-way heated and cooled seats in Windsor leather, Dinamica suedecloth, and Robustec. This combination turns the Defender from a purpose-built offroader into a luxurious vehicle.

Outside, the vehicle is in Carpathian Grey metallic paint, but it’s wrapped with a satin protective film, giving the Defender a stunning matte finish. The roof, hood, and tail doors are also painted in Narvik Black, and Shadow Atlas exterior accents are part of the look.
